Two layers of hand-nested Vanadium steel calico pocket springs—2,856 in a King size—respond to movement independently, so shifts on one side don’t register on the other. Three rows of hand side-stitching secure the border, while hand-tied woollen tufts anchor the upholstery layers to maintain edge firmness, depth of feel, and long-lasting comfort from the first night onward.
